Local Rules


Power Poles, Guy Wires and Power Line Rules:

  • If your ball strikes any of the power poles, guy wires or power lines, YOU MUST replay the shot with no penalty incurred.
  • If your ball comes to rest within 15 yards of a power pole or guy wire AND the pole/wire is within your line of sight, you may take relief with no penalty. The intent of this rule is prevent playing from on un-safe position.

Roads:

  • The curbing or edge of road defines the Out of Bounds for ALL roads surrounding and within the golf course.

Drainage "Ditches":

  • Fairways where drainage ditches are visibly sunk are to be treated as Ground Under Repair. Take relief, no closer to the hole.

Roped Off Areas:

  • Any roped off area is to be considered Ground Under Repair. Take relief, no closer to the hole.

  • Wetlands and pond on left are lateral water hazards as is wetland area on right.  Ball in hazard is to be dropped two club lengths from point at which the ball crossed the hazard no closer to the hole. 1 stroke penalty.

  • Out of bounds on left as indicated by white stakes. Penalty is stroke and distance.

  • Out of bounds on left side and behind green as indicated by white stakes. Penalty is stroke and distance.
  • Pit on left side is in play but brook within pit is a hazard as identified by red stakes. Ball in hazard is to be dropped two club lengths from point at which the ball crossed the hazard no closer to the hole. 1 stroke penalty.
  • Pit on right side is a hazard as identified by red stakes. Ball in hazard is to be dropped two club lengths from point at which the ball crossed the hazard no closer to the hole. 1 stroke penalty.

  • Left side of fairway from Tee to pond is a hazard as identified by red stakes. Ball in hazard is to be dropped two club lengths from point at which the ball crossed the hazard no closer to the hole. 1 stroke penalty.
  • Left of pond and left side of fairway after pond is out of bounds as indicated by white stakes. Penalty is stroke and distance.
  • Behind green is OB as defined by white stakes

  • Right side of fairway is out of bounds as identified by fence. Penalty is stroke and distance.

  • Right side of fairway and left of cart path by condos is out of bounds as identified by fence on the right and white stakes on the left. Penalty is stroke and distance.
  • Behind the green is a lateral water hazard as defined by red stakes. Ball in hazard is to be dropped two club lengths from point at which the ball crossed the hazard no closer to the hole. 1 stroke penalty.

  • The right side is out of bounds as defined by white stakes. Penalty is stroke and distance.
  • The road above and to the right of the green is out of bounds.

  • Left side from Tee to pond is out of bounds as defined by white stakes or line. Road is out of bounds. Penalty is stroke and distance.
  • Left side from pond to green is hazard. Ball in hazard is to be dropped two club lengths from point at which the ball crossed the hazard no closer to the hole. 1 stroke penalty.
  • Right side is out of bounds as defined by white stakes or line. Penalty is stroke and distance.
  • Road to left of hazard and behind green is out of bounds as defined by white stakes/white line. Penalty is stroke and distance.

  • Left side from Tee to water hazard is out of bounds as defined by white stakes or line. Penalty is stroke and distance.
  • Right side from tee to landing area is out of bounds as defined by white stakes or line. Penalty is stroke and distance.
  • Fairway bunker in landing area has Out of Bounds marked behind it.
  • Wetlands short and left of first fairway landing area is a lateral water hazard.  Men & Women place (don't drop) the ball in their respective drop areas located at the right of the landing area.  Penalty is 1 stroke.
  • From landing area to green, the right side is a lateral hazard as defined by red stakes. Ball in hazard is to be dropped two club lengths from point at which the ball crossed the hazard no closer to the hole. 1 stroke penalty.
  • From landing area to green, the left side and behind green is out of bounds as defined by white stakes/white line. Penalty is stroke and distance.

  • The road to the right of the tee box and pond is out of bounds.
  • The wood cap running around the green is considered to be part of the hazard and no relief from the wood is allowed.
  • The wood cap running around the left side of the pond is considered to be part of the hazard and no relief from the wood is allowed.
  • Any ball in the water can be re-teed (penalty - 1 stroke) or placed, not dropped at the designated drop area as posted for that day (penalty - 1 stroke).
  • Balls landing on green and bouncing into the water have the same penalty options as in bullet #2.

  • Lateral hazard on left as defined by stakes between first bridge and the green
  • Out of bounds left of, and behind green as defined by white stakes.
  • Lateral Hazard in front of tee box and before landing area. Re-tee or place (don't drop) the ball at drop area before ladies tee. 
  • Lateral Hazard on right of fairway and before green.
  • Balls landing in fairway divot may be rolled out of divot.
